WASTE EDUCATION & SORTING AT EVENTS

 We increase waste diversion and educate members of the public on sorting waste at events.

There is a growing demand from the public and the City for events to be socially inclusive, rooted in their communities and geared towards waste reduction.  

Binners’ Project provided waste education and sorting at public events for a total 75 days in 2023, providing over 2,744 hours of economic opportunities for binners.​

Connect Binners' Project to your event for containers pick-up and waste management by a team of binners from the community.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Public waste education (front of house) and waste sorting (back of house) by binners;
• On site binners in project t-shirts & hats providing waste separation assistance, outreach about binning, and/or containers collection;
• Staff assistance providing on site supervision;
• All refundable containers collection – which will drastically reduce event’s waste.
