What if the bottles and cans in your home could directly support someone’s livelihood this spring?

In celebration of Earth Day, we’re launching ‘Binning for Binners’ – a region-wide bottle drive and spring fundraiser to turn everyday recyclables into direct income and support for binners!

From April 8 to May 6, we’re raising $10,000 to support binners as they head into the busy summer season.

The Return-It App makes donations easy. Three simple steps:

1. Create a free Express account by clicking here or log-in to your account through the Return-It App (found on Google Play Store or the iOS App store).
   
   
2. Donate to Binners’ Project using the following link: https://app.return-it.ca/makewaycharitablesociety. You’ll have the option to set auto-donations or a one-time donation.
   
   
3. Bag your refundable containers in a CLEAR bag up to 90L in size.
   
   
4. Drop off bags at any Return-It Express location and your donation will be accepted! No Express account at your depot? You can donate your refund directly to us at binnersproject.org/donate.

Binners love event season, and in particular getting to see supporters like you in-person and getting to connect with the public. Here’s a bit from Beate about why she loves being at events:
